New Patient Examinations

OVERVIEW

If you are interested in booking any of our cosmetic or general dentistry services, we offer new patient examinations to get a complete overview of your dental health and to see how we can help. Visiting a new dentist can seem a bit unnerving at first, but rest assured, our team will make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

A new patient examination is a detailed examination of the whole mouth, intra-oral tissues (gums, cheeks and tongue) and an extra-oral examination, such as glands in the neck and tempo-mandibular joint. You will also be asked to complete a full medical history form, so please bring any list of medications with you.

APPOINTMENT INFORMATION

During the appointment, two small bitewings x-rays may also be taken as this checks under existing fillings and between the teeth to see if any decay is present. Also, we provide a full mouth cancer check as part of the examination.

Once the dentist has completed the full examination if any treatment is required the patient will be provided with all treatment options and also a printed treatment plan detailing all the costs. The patient will be asked to sign the treatment plan and also a consent form for any treatment they are having. They will then go to reception to book the relevant appointments.

PRICING
