Appointment Information

The initial appointment before the treatment is a check-up, this must be done prior to teeth whitening. Your dentist will examine your teeth and gums to make sure your teeth are ready, restore any cavities and take moulds for your bespoke whitening trays.

You would then return within two weeks to have your new whitening trays fitted to begin your teeth whitening. Your unique mould is sent to our laboratory where our technicians will precision manufacture whitening trays to fit your mouth very precisely.

While you wait for your trays, start using our specially formulated, extra-sensitive whitening toothpaste to get your pearly whites properly prepped.

For your treatment, collect your trays from the dentist and start using them at home with our whitening gels. In two to three weeks, you can unveil your beautiful new smile.

You would then return for a final assessment, and post-op photographs, to see how effective your teeth whitening treatment has been.

Please note if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we will not be able to book you in for teeth whitening.

Frequently Asked Questions

Teeth whitening is more effective on teeth that are on the yellow and white spectrum. Teeth that are shades of brown and grey are more difficult to whiten and may require longer treatment, or stronger whitening agents.

There is no need to change your diet during your whitening treatment. The only change we would suggest is that you do not eat heavily coloured foods for an hour after whitening your teeth. Apart from this you can eat and drink as normal.

Teeth whitening is not permanent. With no intervention, the colour of your newly whitened teeth will begin to slowly fade back to your previous colour. The duration between topping up your teeth whitening depends mainly on lifestyle choices. People who smoke or consume food and beverages that stain teeth, such as red wine, coffee and curries, will find that they need teeth whitening at more regular intervals after their initial whitening treatment.
